Hi, I’m Yasuke, the founder of Japan Master’s Roadmap.
I work as a university staff member in Japan.
I created this website to help international students who want to study for a master’s degree in Japan.
Why I Started This Site
For many students, applying to a Japanese graduate school can be confusing. You may have questions like:
- How much does a master’s degree in Japan cost?
- Which university should I choose?
- How can I find a supervisor?
- What documents do I need?
- Do I need to speak Japanese?
- How can I get a student visa?
- Can I work part-time while studying?
- What should I prepare before coming to Japan?
Japan Master’s Roadmap provides practical information to help you understand these steps.
My goal is simple:
to make the process of getting a master’s degree in Japan easier to understand.
I focus on information that international students can actually use, including university applications, tuition fees, scholarships, student visas, living costs, housing, and life in Japan.
My Background
I hold the qualification of 1st grade Certified Skilled Professional of Financial Planning — the highest-level financial planning certification in Japan.
This background allows me to explain the financial side of studying in Japan, including tuition fees, living costs, budgeting, and financial planning, in a clear and practical way.
Studying abroad is a big decision. Understanding the costs and preparation needed before coming to Japan can help you plan your studies with greater confidence.
What This Site Covers
I do not represent any particular university. My aim is to provide practical and easy-to-understand information so that international students can make their own decisions.
